Place to Call Home Act The Place to Call Home Act (H.R. 3409) is comprehensive legislation meant to ensure that youth through age 24 do not become homeless and that those youth who do become homeless are provided with immediate housing and other assistance. The Act has a wide range of provisions, covering housing, child welfare, juvenile justice and other important policy areas. We strongly urge Congress to pass this legislation. However, we recognize that it is a very wide ranging bill - it is unlikely to be approved in its entirety. Consequently, we hope that Congress takes provisions of the Place to Call Home Act and passes them as part of smaller legislative packages.
